ACTS Kenya does rely on donations. We hope that this reliance will reduce in the future but at the moment donations are essential to keep books at an affordable level. We are also trying to give more books away for free at conferences and events.
We sell books at a greatly discounted rate. The money that we take through sales is put back into the work – to pay the Kenyan staff, to cover rent and as far as possible to buy more books. But the reality is that without donations the work could not continue.
If you are based outside the UK then please contact the Development Officer by email to discuss how you may help to support the work of ACTS Kenya.
If you are based in the UK then there are a couple of ways that donations can be made:
1. Into the ACTS Kenya “General Fund”
These donations will be used to help us pay for books that we order and ship from the UK and USA. Any cheques should be made payable to “The Equipping The Saints Trust”.
Donations can be sent to the following address:Mr Peter King The Equipping The Saints Trust 8 Kingswood Drive London SE19 1UR
If you area UK taxpayer, please do complete and send a gift aid declaration form where appropriate – click here to download a form.
All money sent to “The Equipping The Saints Trust” is being used for the work of ACTS Kenya at the present time.
2. Into “Special Projects”
The idea is that gifts can be given to help specific bible colleges or to help us give books away at conferences. So, for example, a gift was given to help us set up a small library at Berith Bible College in Kibera. We may also use the special projects fund to publish books in Kenya.
If you are interested in helping a project like this then please send donations to Grace Baptist Mission for the attention of Andrew Sadler. Cheques should be made payable to “Grace Baptist Mission”. Please clearly state that the donation is for an ACTS Kenya Special Project.
